Our Urgent Care Centers do not treat life-threatening emergencies — but almost everything else.

If something has you worried, that’s urgent to us. At Playa Vista Medical Plaza, the Urgent Care Center have the capability to treat a wide range of conditions, complete with a fully accredited laboratory and comprehensive radiology services. These services can be especially comforting for parents of infants and toddlers when illness strikes in the evening or on weekends..

Urgent Care treats conditions that require prompt medical attention, but that are not life threatening:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Allergic reactions
  • Asthma
  • Back pain
  • Bronchitis
  • Eye, ear and skin infections
  • Gastroenteritis
  • Headaches
  • Injuries of the shoulder, leg, hand, wrist, knee, ankle
  • Lacerations, contusions
  • Minor burns
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Pneumonia

Urgent Care is intended to treat non-life-threatening, urgent medical needs.

9-1-1 should be called for life-threatening emergencies.
